4.30 am 12 June 1964 Akrad Radio Corp. Belmont Road next to Linn Motors Ltd. Interior gutted. Damage est. £100,000.

2 am 19 July 1967 Disused two storey wooden shop owned by Government but formerly Belmont Boarding House, Brockett & Shand grocery, R A Sims grocery; located between Power Board office and Hauraki House in Belmont Road.

3 am 15 June 1968 Paeroa Golf Club Clubhouse, Rotokohu Road. Building opened only 12 months previously. Damage $20,000.

9.35 pm 30 Nov. 1975 Paeroa Scout & Guide Hall. Primrose Hill. Damage est. $30,000.

5 pm 30 December 1979 Paeroa Racecourse Members Stand, 22,000 sq.ft. Thought to have been started by lightning strike. Replacement value insurance. Building about 60 years old?

10.30 pm 7 January 1982 "The Bike Shop" in a block of shops at corner of Normanby Road and Arney Street. Primarily contents destroyed, Premises able to be restored.

11.25 pm 26 November 1983 Bartons Music Shop, Richardsons Fashions and Central Bookshop. Corner of Normanby Road and Mackay Street. Estimated damage $300,000. Fire mainly in Barton's storeroom and subsequently to roof. Building erect 1926.
