BILL and VERA TAYLOR
The Paeroa Society congratulates Bill and Vera Taylor of Mackaytown on their 50th Wedding Anniversary. They were married on 24 July 1937 in the Presbyterian Church Hall at Karangahake. Bill's work with the Railways took them to other parts of New Zealand, but on his retirement, they returned to Mackaytown.
Bill is a Wildlife Ranger and they are both actively involved in many organisations, such as the Auckland Acclimatisation Society and the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society.
Vera was the Postmistress at Karangahake 1970-77 and still relieves from time to time.
