At the time of going to print, the Paeroa Society is looking forward to celebrating the 90th Birthdays of its Patron, Mrs Nell Climie (13 August) and also that of Mrs Eunice Brown (14 August) and her husband, Jim Brown (30 September) at a function to be held on 9 August 1897 [1987; see Journal 32: 90th Birthday Honours - Climie, Brown – E].
Sincere congratulations are extended to these new nonagenarians and also to another member, Mr W J Noble, now of Trevellyn Home, Hamilton, who celebrated his Birthday on 24 July 1987.
