Chook's Tracks
This adjoined the Te Ao Marama Claim on the North end.
A good deal of work was done on it in 1901 – 3, mainly driving a long adit in the hope of intersecting the northern extension of the Te Ao Marama Reef systems.
Driven for 1100 feet, it should have cut the reef system had it maintained it's course, but nothing of value was found.
About 1904, the claim came into possession of the Komata Reefs Company, but there is no record of anymore work being done on it.
