Waihi Dredging Company formed by E. H. Barber. Capital of 5 thousand pounds.

Use of primitive dragline.

1902

Sands Tailings Syndicate stated treating tailings deposits.

1903

Ohinemuri River Syndicate. Mr. Brown and Mr. Thompson.

Inventors of Air Agitation Tanks (World wide patent).

Letters Patent No. 14883 applied for, 17th August, 1903 (for Air Agitation Tanks).

1904

First full year of operation. Tube Mill erected.

Letters Patent No. 17982 applied for, 25th May, 1904 (this appears to be a modification or update of the previous patent).

1908

Waihi Paeroa Gold Extraction Company. Mr. Kingswell Director. Robert Mark Aitken manager. New machinery installed costing £16,000; tube mills, agitators, concentrators and air compressing plant. Suction Dredge.

1909

A full year of operating. Treated 23,950 tons.

1910. March

Last financial year and of operation at Waihi.

Treated a total of 32,800 tons of tailings.

Public company formed. Waihi Paeroa Gold Extraction Company Limited

1910. April

Tender accepted for dismantling and removal of the plant to Mill Road Paeroa.
