AWARDS TO JOHN HILL and REG HUGHES
The Paeroa and District Historical Society congratulates Vice-President, John Hill and Past Secretary, Reg Hughes, on Awards received from the Hauraki District Council acknowledging their service to flood protection around the Hauraki Plains. John Hill has given forty-two years service on the Tirohia Rotokohu Drainage Committee. He has now retired from the Committee, but retains his interest in an advisory capacity. Reg Hughes has given forty-two years service on the Opukeko Drainage Committee and continues to serve on this Committee.
