The electric powered lorry appearing in the photograph was driven by the late Dave McKee for the N.Z. Dairy Coy. This lorry replaced the earlier Lacre lorry which had solid rubber tyres. Those lorries were used for picking up cream and taking butter to the Paeroa railway station as well as for local deliveries of butter.
