Ohinemuri Regional History Journal 14, October 1970

NOTE: We are holding for a future Journal a sketch plan and an excellent article on the School by our faithful contributor Mr. C.W. Malcolm, who writes the following foreword:-

"The History of the School falls into 3 parts - Early, Middle, and recent. The Early Period ends with the destructive Fire of 1910. I trust that someone will be able to record this period with a sketch plan and a photograph or two. The Middle Period, with which my article deals, is concerned with the School from the time of the fire till the beginning of the period of alterations and extensions commencing in the early "twenties".

(May we earnestly support Mr. Malcolm's hope that materiel will be forthcoming to complete the record. Buildings, Teachers and pupils of the very early days; even short paragraphs will help. Ed.)
